For those unfamiliar with oral and maxillofacial surgery training, there are two basic program types: single-degree (4-year) programs, and dual-degree (6-year, M.D.-integrated) programs. Either by reading their published work, hearing from residents, or talking to your faculty at your school, you can get a basic idea of
